Ringwood Dogs Training Club offer classes on Saturday mornings which are geared towards older puppies over the age of 20 weeks old and adult dogs for owners who would now like their dog to learn more commands in a group class environment.
Each class aims to show owners how to improve their dog’s obedience whilst having fun at the same time. Meet like minded owners and their dogs for an action packed class covering General Obedience, Socialisation, Fun and Games. We shall work towards improving upon the “eight essential commands” needed to become a well behaved member of the family including – Focus, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Leave It, Drop It and Heel (walking nicely on leash). We will be building on these essential commands and many more, lowering and raising criteria depending on the dog. Also included will be tricks, games and enrichment to offer a good balance between obedience and socialisation.
This course is a “Positive Reinforcement” course where no force or punishment will be used to train your dog. Only kind, fair and effective techniques are used, making the classes fun and stimulating for both dogs and owners. There is also an opportunity to achieve the IMDT Bronze, Silver and Gold awards for those owners interested in completing these. See you there!
